Gabriela Kolman

Gabriela is originally from Brazil and immigrated to the United States in 2010. She received her BA in Spanish from the University of Virginia-Charlottesville, and moved to Bloomington, IN to pursue her MA and PhD in Hispanic Literatures and Cultures in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at IU. She is currently writing her dissertation on representations of whiteness in nineteenth-century literature from Argentina, Peru, and Brazil. In her free time, she loves to bake, cook, go on hikes, lift weights, and take pictures of her two cats.
