CLACS and the Minority Languages and Cultures Project is pleased to announce funds, supported by our Title VI National Resource Center grant, for an annual speaker on minority languages and cultures in Latin America, with a focus on environmental justice. Speakers may be scholars, activists, artists, public figures, etc. Applications to bring speakers from Latin America or the Caribbean are especially encouraged. Requests may be submitted by faculty or graduate students (graduate students should have a faculty collaborator). CLACS will provide the funds, and the coordinator of the selected proposal will organize the event. Send a proposal of up to two pages, a CV/resume for the proposed speaker, and a budget to firstname.lastname@example.org by November 2, 2018.
