Eddy Rafael Santiago Huamani

Eddy is the current Graduate Assistant for CLACS. He is enrolled in the Master's program in Latin American and Caribbean Studies. He earned his BA in Literature with a Minor in Latin American and Peruvian Studies from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. He has worked as a Literature teacher. He wrote reviews in the Peruvian newspaper La República. His personal and academic interests include migrated testimonies, music and tradition of Quechua culture. He participated in the International Congress of Andean Literatures and Cultures in 2021. He also has been involved in the cultural and social organization Club Santa Maria de Ishua from Centro Unión San Diego de Ishua (CUSDI), and he is part of the traditional dancing group: Los Soncco suas de Ishua.
